What is Chiropractic treatment?

Chiropractic treatment is an umbrella term which Chiropractors use multiple modalities to treat people with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions such as neck pain, lower back pain and shoulder pain. Spinal manipulation is one of the most excellent methods to relieve pain, restore motion and joint function. Active release technique, soft tissue mobilisation, dry needling, cupping and rehabilitation are always combined with Chiropractic manipulation to maximise the treatment outcome.

How does Chiropractic manipulation work?

When the spinal column misaligns (subluxation), it may result in joint dysfunctions, motion restrictions, and physiological dysfunctions. Pain is not the only presentation of spinal subluxation, muscle balance and even the organ function can also be affected. Chiropractic manipulation or adjustment can manually correct the misaligned joint to restore spinal function and motion, and alleviate pain.
