Our Approach

More Than Pain Relief

Chiropractic care is not just about getting out of pain — it is about understanding why pain developed in the first place and addressing the underlying cause. At Kings Park Chiropractic, every patient presenting from Castle Hill and the wider Hills District receives a thorough assessment before any treatment begins.

Dr. Brian takes a whole-body approach. Your spine, posture, movement patterns, work habits, and health history are all considered together — not just the area that hurts. This means treatment plans are tailored to you as an individual, not built around a standard protocol.

Whether you are dealing with an acute flare-up or a chronic problem that has been building for years, the goal is the same: restore normal function, reduce pain, and give you the tools to stay well.

What We Treat

Conditions We Treat

Person holding their lower back in pain seeking chiropractic treatment at Kings Park Chiropractic Blacktown NSW
Back Pain

Back pain is the leading cause of disability in Australia, affecting around 4 million people at any given time. Chiropractic assessment identifies the specific structure involved — disc, muscle, or facet joint — and targets treatment accordingly.

Neck Pain

Neck pain affects an estimated 1 in 3 Australians at some point in their life. Treatment aims to restore normal cervical joint movement, reduce nerve irritation, and relax the surrounding musculature.

Woman with sciatica holding the back of her thigh in pain, seeking chiropractic treatment in Kings Park
Sciatica

Sciatica describes pain travelling from the lower back through the buttock and down the leg, most commonly caused by disc herniation or piriformis compression at the L4–S1 levels. Chiropractic care aims to reduce the compression driving the nerve irritation and restore normal lumbar mechanics.

Person suffering from headache or migraine seeking chiropractic treatment in Kings Park and Blacktown
Headaches & Migraines

Cervicogenic and tension-type headaches arising from the upper neck are among the most common presentations we see, with randomised controlled trials supporting chiropractic manipulation for reducing their frequency and intensity. Migraines with a cervical component can also respond well to manual therapy targeting the upper neck joints.

Person experiencing disc bulge lower back pain seeking chiropractic treatment in Kings Park
Disc Bulge

A bulging disc occurs when the outer ring weakens and the inner material pushes outward, potentially compressing nearby nerve roots. Conservative chiropractic management — including spinal adjustment and traction-based techniques — is the recommended first-line approach for most presentations.

Person holding shoulder in pain seeking chiropractic treatment at Kings Park
Shoulder Pain

Shoulder pain often stems from a combination of rotator cuff irritation, restricted thoracic mobility, and referred pain from the cervical spine. Chiropractic assessment examines all contributing structures together rather than the shoulder in isolation.

Treatment Process

How We Help You Recover

Every treatment plan at Kings Park Chiropractic begins the same way: a thorough assessment. Dr. Brian conducts a full health history, postural analysis, range of motion testing, and where appropriate, orthopaedic and neurological examination. Nothing is assumed — the assessment drives the plan.

Once the source of your pain is identified, Dr. Brian explains his findings in plain language and outlines a realistic care plan — including how many visits are typically required and what to expect at each stage. There are no vague open-ended commitments.

Spinal adjustments are precise, controlled movements applied to restricted or dysfunctional joints to restore normal motion and reduce nerve irritation. Depending on your presentation, treatment may also include dry needling, remedial massage, cupping therapy, or Y-strap traction — all performed in-house.

In most cases, hands-on treatment begins at your very first appointment. You do not need to wait for a second visit to receive care.

Family Chiropractic

Chiropractic Care for the Whole Family

Kings Park Chiropractic is a family-focused clinic. Dr. Brian is one of the few chiropractors in Western Sydney to hold the DACCP — Diplomate of the Academy of Chiropractic Children’s Practitioners — a postgraduate qualification in paediatric chiropractic that requires extensive additional training beyond standard registration.

Paediatric chiropractic is safe, gentle, and adapted entirely to the size and developmental stage of the child. The techniques used for an infant or toddler look completely different to those used for an adult — the forces applied are extremely light, and children typically respond quickly and well.

Common presentations in children include birth-related tension, torticollis (persistent head tilt), postural issues from heavy school bags, and musculoskeletal growing pains. Families from Castle Hill and across the Hills District choose Kings Park Chiropractic because they can bring the whole family — from newborns to grandparents — to one trusted clinic, without needing a separate specialist for each age group.
